Boston is easily accessible by air, rail, and bus.

If arriving by air, the most convenient destination is Logan Interational Airport (BOS). If staying at the Boston Harbor Hotel, the Rowes Wharf Water Taxi will take you directly to the hotel. If staying elsewhere, public transportation, taxis and rental cars are readily available. Alternative airports you may wish to consider are Providence's T.F. Green Airport (PVD) and New Hampshire's Manchester Airport (MHT), both within 90 minutes of the city of Boston.

Rail and bus service are available to several Boston locations, including the South Station terminal. The South Station terminal is located approximately three blocks from the Boston Harbor Hotel.

If you are in need of any additional information, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you.

For your convenience, a block of rooms has been reserved at the Boston Harbor Hotel, the location of the ceremony and reception. If you would like to stay at the hotel, please call 800-752-7077 before April 20, 2005 and indicate that you are with the Floyd/Gibbons wedding party.

As an alternative, a block of rooms has also been reserved at the Marriot Boston Quincy. The Marriott Boston Quincy is approximately 20 minutes south of the ceremony, and is easily accessible. If you would like to stay at this hotel, please call 866-449-7387 before April 29, 2005. Ask for the special rate for the Floyd/Gibbons Wedding (group code "FGWFGWA") at the Boston Marriott Quincy. Alternatively, click here to place a reservation online.

If you would prefer to make other arrangements, Boston provides a wide variety of accommodations. Please be aware that, due to university graduations and Red Sox games, availability may be limited.

Attire for the ceremony and reception is black tie. If you require a tuxedo for rental or purchase, many options are available. In New England, Mr. Tux has multiple locations, and can be reached by phone at 781-843-4746. Mr. Tux has graciously offered to extend a significant discount if you mention that your rental is for the Floyd/Gibbons wedding.

Jered and Brian would be honoured to have their friends participate in creation of the chuppah for their wedding ceremony. Ms. Amatul Hannan has graciously offered to coordinate this process. If you are in the Boston area and would like to lend your skills, please contact Ms. Hannan at amatul@aquariiarts.com.
